The Chinese civilization is included in all games of the series and appears as a playable civilization for the third time in Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties. In this installment, they have the greatest number of unique unit types from any civ in AoK, namely 29. Their mass-producing unique unit is the Chu Ko Nu, a ranged unit carrying crossbows that also fire flaming arrows. They also have the unique Monastery and Great Wall, which can be built in their cities. The Indian civilization is a new civilization added in Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties. They are native to Asia and other Asian civilizations build the Taj Mahal for them, which acts as a religious center. Their unique unit is the Elephant Archer, a ranged unit that carries an 80-arrow quiver and has been called "the strongest melee cavalry" in AoE3.[9] The Korean civilization is a new civilization added in Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties.
